Efrat Sharon, Principal

Efrat founded 48 Capital LLC after having been involved in the debt markets  for fifteen years, nationally and locally, with a special focus on properties in New York City. With her integrity and strong commitment to people, she has been providing clients debt and equity capital  solutions for the development, acquisition and refinance of their properties. Her expertise lies in structuring and negotiating commercial real estate loans with institutional and private capital sources including banks, life insurance companies, CMBS lenders, debt funds and mezzanine lenders.

Prior to founding 48 Capital LLC, Efrat was a Senior Vice President at TerraCRG, a commercial real estate brokerage firm based in Brooklyn, where she established and headed the company’s debt financing group. The group proceeded to closing over 40 financing transactions in a little over three years. 

Prior to that, Efrat spent over five years as a loan originator at the CBRE Capital Markets group in New York City, where she was involved in the placement of over $1 billion in debt and equity nationwide. She developed a vast relationship network of capital sources and acquired extensive experience in closing complex financing transactions. Earlier in her career, Efrat worked at a boutique real estate holding company, where she has partaken in the acquisition of over 1,500 units, expanding a portfolio of multifamily and mixed-use buildings in New York City.

Efrat holds an Executive MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Film-Making from Tel Aviv University. She is an adjunct professor at the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate and at Fordham University, where she teaches Real Estate Finance courses.
